Usual Dosage of Anagrelide for Thrombocythemia in Adults
1. Initial Dose
Oral, 0.5 mg four times daily; or oral, 1 mg twice daily. Continue for at least 7 days.
2. Maintenance Dose
Titrate to the lowest effective dose required to reduce and maintain the platelet count below 600,000/µL (ideally to normal levels). Dose increases should not exceed 0.5 mg/day in any one week.
3. Maximum Dose Limits
The total daily dose should not exceed 10 mg, and any single dose should not exceed 2.5 mg.
Usual Dosage of Anagrelide for Pediatric Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia
