A very small number of patients may develop Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome (PRES), a neurological disorder that can trigger seizures, hypertension, severe headache, altered mental status, or visual abnormalities. Diagnosis requires brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Ixazomib must be discontinued immediately if PRES-related symptoms occur.
If you experience severe discomfort during treatment, seek medical attention promptly, and your doctor will decide whether to discontinue the drug or take other therapeutic measures based on your specific condition.
