There is currently no specific antidote for selumetinib overdose. In the event of an overdose, immediately monitor the patient for signs of adverse reactions, initiate supportive care (e.g., maintaining respiratory function, stabilizing blood pressure), and adjust the intensity of monitoring based on the patient’s clinical condition.
Note that hemodialysis is not effective in clearing selumetinib and should therefore not be used. If an overdose is suspected, contact a physician immediately for professional guidance, regardless of whether symptoms are present.
