Certain medications may not be safe to use concurrently. Some drugs can alter the blood concentrations of other medications you are taking, potentially increasing the risk of side effects or reducing therapeutic efficacy.
Inform your doctor about all other medications you are using, particularly:
Medications that may alter serum phosphate levels, such as potassium phosphate supplements, vitamin D supplements, antacids, phosphate-containing enemas or laxatives, and other products known to contain phosphate.
