Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Keep in original packaging to protect from moisture.
Cabozantinib Monitoring
1. Cardiovascular system: Blood pressure (monitor regularly before and during treatment).
2. Musculoskeletal system: Oral examination (perform regularly before and during treatment due to risk of ONJ).
3. Renal: Urine protein (monitor regularly during treatment).
4. Endocrine system: Thyroid function (monitor regularly before and during treatment).
5. Metabolic: Blood calcium (monitor regularly during treatment).
Important Notes
1. Cabozantinib may cause dizziness and other side effects that may affect your ability to perform certain activities; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.
2. If you develop jaundice, severe nausea or vomiting, or easy bruising or bleeding, tell your doctor immediately.
3. If you experience signs or symptoms of abnormal thyroid function, tell your doctor immediately.
4. If you experience signs or symptoms of hypocalcemia, tell your doctor immediately.
5. If you experience signs or symptoms of proteinuria, tell your doctor.
6. For patients receiving cabozantinib in combination with nivolumab, if you experience signs or symptoms of adrenal insufficiency, tell your doctor immediately.
