Epclusa contains the active ingredients sofosbuvir and velpatasvir as a fixed-dose combination product, indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.
This product is indicated for the treatment of chronic HCV infection with genotypes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 in adult and pediatric patients aged 3 years and older, as detailed below:
Patients without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis (Child-Pugh Class A);
Patients with decompensated cirrhosis (Child-Pugh Class B or C), who must be used in combination with ribavirin.
