Other Medications That May Affect Epclusa

Update: 07 Apr,2026 Source: Bigbear Views: 101

When you begin or stop taking Epclusa, your doctor may need to adjust the dosages of any other medications you take regularly.

Certain drugs should not be used together due to safety concerns. Some medications can alter blood concentrations of other drugs you are taking, potentially increasing side effects or reducing treatment effectiveness.

If you also take omeprazole (Prilosec) or an antacid, wait at least 4 hours after taking your dose of Epclusa (with food) before using these products.

Numerous medications may interact with sofosbuvir/velpatasvir, including prescription drugs, over‑the‑counter products, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Not all potential interactions are listed here. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are using.
