Before taking Cobimetinib, you must inform your healthcare provider of all your medical conditions, especially the following: whether you have skin problems or a history of skin conditions other than melanoma; whether you have bleeding problems, any medical conditions that increase the risk of bleeding, or take medications that affect bleeding; whether you have heart problems (such as cardiac dysfunction); whether you have eye problems (such as retinopathy); whether you have liver or muscle disease; whether you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant – Cobimetinib may harm an unborn baby; women of childbearing potential must use effective contraception during treatment and for at least 2 weeks after the last dose; whether you are breastfeeding – it is not known if Cobimetinib passes into breast milk, so you should not breastfeed during treatment and for 2 weeks after the last dose.
