If any of the following side effects occur while taking Binimetinib, please seek immediate medical attention:

1. Common side effects

(1) Bleeding gums, swelling of the face, arms, hands, legs, or feet, blurred vision or any other visual changes, chest pain or tightness, coughing up blood, decreased urine output, difficulty breathing or swallowing, dilated neck veins, unusual fatigue or weakness;

(2) Dizziness, fever, headache, hoarseness, increased menstrual flow or vaginal bleeding, irregular breathing, irregular heartbeat, irritation, itching, hives, rash, joint pain, stiffness or swelling, anxiety, abnormal weight gain or loss;

(3) Nosebleeds, paralysis, tinnitus, persistent bleeding from wounds, rapid weight gain, red or black tarry stools, red or dark brown urine, skin redness, slow or fast heartbeat, stomach cramps, tenderness, tingling in the hands and feet, visual disturbances, watery or bloody diarrhea.

2. Rare Side Effects

Darkening of urine, muscle cramps, twitching, pain, or stiffness.

(1) Anemia (36%), bleeding (19%), leukopenia (13%), lymphoma (13%), neutropenia (13%).

(2) Retinopathy (20%), visual impairment (20%).

(3) Hyponatremia (18%), peripheral edema (13%).

(4) Elevated gamma-glutamyl transferase.

(5) Fatigue (43%), fever (18%), dizziness (15%).

(6) Elevated creatinine (93%), elevated creatine phosphokinase (58%).

(7) Hypertension (11%), rash (22%).

(8) Nausea (41%), diarrhea (36%), vomiting (30%), abdominal pain (28%), constipation (22%).

(1) Venous thromboembolism (VTE).

(2) Hypersensitivity reaction.

(3) Retinal detachment, macular edema, uveitis.

(4) Elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT), elevated aspartate aminotransferase (AST).

(5) Cardiomyopathy, fatal intracranial hemorrhage (seen in patients with new or progressive brain metastases).

(6) Panniculitis, rectal bleeding, hematochezia, hemorrhoidal bleeding, colitis. 

3. Uncommon adverse reactions of bimetinib (incidence 0.1% to 1%)

(1) Rhabdomyolysis.

(2) Retinal vein occlusion.

(3) Elevated alkaline phosphatase.

(4) Interstitial lung disease.
